Astrid Garden
Creative urban development with genius loci

The Astrid Garden project is a creative urban development with a genius loci. The architectural concept is based on a modern reinterpretation of the historical industrial style typical of this part of the city.
It is a new building with one reconstructed building facing U Průhon Street on the site of the former factory of the cosmetic brand Astrid. The heart of the apartment complex is an urbanized inner garden creating a peaceful environment.
UBM Development realized the apartment building with BREEAM ecological certification. The certification includes a standard of building design practices with an emphasis on sustainability and is a practical benchmark to describe the environmental performance and energy savings of a building.
Astrid Garden and the neighbouring office building, Astrid Offices in Dělnická Street, were designed by Bogle Architects. The LEED Gold-certified Astrid Offices was completed in 2021 and won an award in the prestigious Best of Realty competition in the category of new office centers. Bogle Architects is a multi-award winning architecture and design studio founded in 2012 by Ian Bogle. In addition to London, the firm operates in Prague and Hong Kong. They undertake projects in Europe, the UK, South America and Asia.
