Botero, a large side table balanced on five slender legs, embodies refined technical expertise in its details and irony in its aesthetics. The artisanal technique used to create its rounded surface has been recovered and re-interpreted by De Castelli, transforming this sculptural object into the quintessence of complexity and formal sophistication. The central opening offers glimpses of a curved, soft shape rendered solid by the masterful work executed to weld the top and the legs to the central element.
Botero comes in two variations: brass base with gradual oxidation and a brushed brass top and brushed brass base and a DeDeep stainless steel top.
