Rotary switch
Glass switches - The Bauhaus switch
The first of these glass switches, or rather flush-mounted rotary switches with a glass cover, were made around 1920. Due to their simple shape and the transparency of the glass, the switches adapt to any wall surface. Wallpaper, colored areas and other materials remain visible through the glass, the structure of the wall surface is only slightly interrupted. The various glass plates, switches, dimmers and sockets can be assembled in any multiple combination or as individual elements.
These flush-mounted rotary switches correspond to the Bauhaus glass switch in its original design, as it was developed in the early 1920s. The technical equipment meets the VDE and CE requirements.
