Metal is unabashedly confirmed in these large, sinuous sculptures. Complementary forms are emphasized by unique hues and the precious gold leaf applied to their surfaces. In an interplay of positive and negative space, the two figures stand out in anthropomorphic shapes defined by light and shadow, where the finish emphasizes far-away inspirations and evokes the ancient arts of past eras.
