Walter Gropius, born in 1883, is one of the most important Bauhaus designers of all. Gropius studied architecture at the beginning of the 20th century and then joined Peter Behrens' design office, as did Mies van der Rohe and Corbusier. As a freelance architect and industrial designer, Walter Gropius later designed the Gropius handle that is so well known today, which was first used by S.A. in 1923 Loevy went into production. TECNOLUMEN has been producing the various Gropius models since 1983.
The Walter Gropius handle collection is available in two base materials - solid cast brass and stainless steel and four different finishes with various types of angular and rounded plates, lever roses and escutcheons.
